Phillip H. Allman, Ph.D.

Phillip H. Allman founded Allman & Petersen Economics, LLC under the name Allman Economic Analysis in 1984. He has since testified in over 500 trials. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Michigan State University in 1982. Prior to starting Allman Economic Analysis, Phil was a professor of economics at the University of the Pacific. Phil's areas of expertise are financial and labor economics. He has published articles on topics such as forecasting interest rates and wage growth, and valuing pensions. Jeffrey S. Petersen, Ph.D.

Jeffrey S. Petersen has been a partner at Allman & Petersen Economics, LLC since 2003. He was previously employed at the U.S. Government Accountability Office as a senior economist from 1998-2003. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Utah in 1994. From 1995-1998, Jeff was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Jeff's areas of expertise are labor and health economics. He has published articles on topics such as returning to work following an injury, the intersection of health and employment at older ages, workers compensation, compensation in the construction industry, and pension and Social Security issues. Jeff also teaches economics at St. Mary's College. He recently co-authored an article in the Journal of Legal Economics with Phillip Allman on conducting surveys in class-action wage and hour cases.
